CSI Brick Campaign

Child Saving Institute Mary Holland Campus for Children and Youth
Second Century Brick Campaign
Child Saving Institute (CSI) made a bold move by deciding to expand and renovate its main building at 4545 Dodge Street, Omaha, Nebraska. For 117 years, CSI has helped build a secure future for thousands of children one child at a time. Today many of those children are productive, contributing adults living all over the United States. You have been an active partner with CSI in developing those opportunities.
In the Fall of 2005, the original orphanage, property of the University of Nebraska Medical Center since the late 1960’s, was demolished to make space for a new building. The Medical Center kindly saved 200 of the old orphanage bricks for CSI to integrate into the interior design of the new building. Because the bricks are so fragile, they will be sealed and incorporated into the floor area preserving a “piece” of CSI’s history and providing a foundation for a nine foot sculpture representing family. With your support, together, we are building a solid foundation for children today and tomorrow.
Bricks may be sponsored for $1,000 each.
Brick sponsors’ names will be engraved on the sculpture pedestal.
