Minority/Interracial Adoption

Omaha’s children need your help!

There is an urgent need in the State of Nebraska for adoptive homes for minority children. Approximately 140 metro area children are waiting to find families, and of these, many are African American children.  (There are also young minority women unable to parent their infants and who  choose to place them with minority families.)

"I feel so blessed that this program and its specialized counselors were available when I adopted my two children. The counselors really understood and addressed the cultural, spiritual, and financial aspects of minority based families. They focused on each of these areas individually, and as a whole, with both the birthparents and prospective adoption parents to find the best fit for both families."

“As a mixed couple the Minority/Interracial Adoption program has given us the opportunity to grow our family through the adoption of our son as naturally as possible.  We are now looking forward to expanding our family through this program again.”
