Since 2018, Diventures has been a steadfast supporter of Child Saving Institute (CSI) and the organization’s largest annual fundraising event, Cabaret. But the partnership goes beyond fundraising and goes further back than 2018. This collaboration is rooted in a shared belief that communities thrive when children are safe, supported and given every opportunity to grow.
When Diventures founder, Dean Hollis, moved to Omaha 30 years ago, he found himself quickly inspired by the Omaha community. Before starting Diventures, when Hollis was president and chief operating officer of ConAgra Foods, he recognized CSI’s role in protecting and strengthening our community through its focus on children and families. When he founded Diventures, Hollis intentionally shaped the company around community-centered partnerships, especially those focused on child wellbeing.
“I didn’t start Diventures and then begin thinking about supporting our community, I founded Diventures with the purpose of supporting our communities,” Hollis said. “Developing relationships to build thriving swimming and diving communities is core to Diventures DNA.”
“We’re a mission-, vision-, values-driven company with a shared passion for the water. Unfortunately, 24 people drown every day in the United States. Half of those are kids,” Hollis said. “So, we’re committed to helping people, especially kids, be safe in and around the water.”
That’s the common bond between Diventures and CSI: families, kids, safety and stability. Diventures equips children with essential water safety skills, and CSI ensures kids have the resources and care they need to thrive outside the water. Together, the partnership creates a holistic circle of protection for kids and communities.
When it comes to supporting CSI through its fundraising events like Cabaret, Hollis emphasizes that Diventures sees it both as a privilege and an obligation to stand alongside the organization’s mission: “We’re very thankful for the work CSI does and very proud of being a part of helping people in the Omaha community.”
Join CSI and Diventures at Carabet 2026 on Friday, April 10.
