Stand-Up for CSI's Kids at Cabaret 2019
Child Saving Institute’s (CSI) Board of Directors and Guild Board will present its biggest fundraiser of the year — Cabaret 2019 — Saturday, May 11, at 6 p.m. at the Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District, 222 N. 10 St., featuring the return of comedian Jeff Dye.
Dye, a nationally touring comedian, actor, host, prankster and Bigfoot enthusiast, will bring all new material to his return engagement. Since June, Dye has been guest co-hosting “Access Live” for NBC, finished filming the feature film “The Wedding Year” with director Robert Luketic, and shot an episode of “The Brian Regan Show” for Netflix. He hosted NBC’s “Better Late than Never” for two seasons, which followed Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they traveled across the world as Dye created for them the adventure of a lifetime.
Tickets and tables are available for this laughter-filled evening that includes cocktails, dinner, and Dye’s show. Event chairs are Addie and Robert Hollingsworth; Co-chairs are Melanie and David Hecker. Honorary chair is a friend of CSI.
Registration is $175 per person. To sponsor a table, register, or for more information, please visit childsaving.orgor call 402-504-3634.
Funds raised from the evening support CSI’s quality programs, including parenting workshops, emergency shelter for youth, therapy, older child adoption, foster care, and developmental early childhood education.
CSI is dedicated to the prevention, intervention and healing of child abuse, neglect, and abandonment. CSI has met the changing needs of metro area children for more than 125 years based on the belief that ALL children should have homes where hope is kindled and dreams can be achieved.
