Our community needs Foster Parents!
Childhood begins at home . . . your home
Our community is in crisis. We need safe, loving homes for hundreds of kids. We especially need homes for teens, kids with history of trauma, and groups of siblings—can you imagine not only being removed from your home, but being separated from your brothers and sisters as well?
Please consider being a Foster Parent, or help us spread the word among your family and friends! In case that gives you pause, just remember, kids in foster care are just KIDS! If you saw a random group of kids sitting around talking and laughing, chances are you’d never be able to tell which kid was in foster care. Kids in foster care need the same things all kids need—nurturing, safety, consistency and compassion.
If you decide to become a foster parent, Child Saving Institute will provide support and training for you and your family through the entire process. You won’t be left hanging in tough times—you can speak with a Foster Care Specialist 24/7.
Give them a childhood and these kids will give your life special meaning. Whether you foster a kid for a week, a month, or a year…you make a lasting difference. The truth is, foster parenting is extraordinarily rewarding.
You can learn more about foster parenting by attending an orientation session at Child Saving Institute, 4545 Dodge St. Dates and times are listed at left. We hope to see you there!
