Teen & Young Parent Program (TYPP)
We can help you and your baby
Are you a teen parent or a young parent, or are you about to become one? Child Saving Institute's Teen & Young Parent Program (TYPP) provides pregnant and parenting young people, ages 13 - 24, with support services and parent education.
We provide teen parents and young parents with home-based support and education about healthy early child development, parenting skills, and positive life skills.
Earn baby gear by completing your goals
Best of all, you can earn great stuff for your baby! Points earned through meeting your goals allow you to purchase items in CSI's "Baby Boutique," where every 25 points is worth $5 in great merchandise.
You can earn points for attending classes, graduating or earning your GED, attending parenting classes, going to your prenatal visits, and later taking your child for check-ups and immunizations. Boutique items include clothing, diapers, toys, strollers, car seats, and more!
We use the Growing Great Kids™ curriculum
Through Growing Great Kids™, you are empowered to be a confident and competent young parent by:
- reducing your stress
- learning essential parenting and life skills
- creating a nurturing home environment
- finding inner strengths to reach your highest potential
- enhancing the relationship with your child
- learning healthy early child development
