Mutual of Omaha Partners with Child Saving Institute to Support Read Across America Day
March 3, 2020
Mutual of Omaha is partnering with five local organizations to support Read Across America Day. On Monday, March 2, nearly 70 Mutual of Omaha employees volunteered their time to read to children across the metro area.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Mutual of Omaha has participated in Read Across America Day partnering with Child Saving Institute’s (CSI) Early Childhood Education Centers to encourage children to read more and get them excited about reading.
CSI’s Early Childhood Education Centers, located on 45th and Dodge and on the College of Saint Mary’s campus, provide nurturing care and learning to more than 300 children annually. Both centers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and participate in the Nebraska Step Up to Quality program. Each center also participates in activities, such as Read Across America Day, to enhance the learning and development of the children enrolled.
