Caregiver with Child

KidSquad is a comprehensive early childhood mental health program that supports children, educators and families—offering support directly at the child’s childcare center. With a combination of classroom support and individualized on-site therapy services, KidSquad meets each child’s unique needs in real time.

This helps children in early childhood education build the social, emotional and behavioral skills they need to thrive before kindergarten starts.

Children or classrooms may be referred to KidSquad if they are navigating:

  • Aggressive behaviors
  • Difficulty following directions
  • Emotional overwhelm and difficulty regulating emotions
  • Difficulty following routines
  • Challenges developing positive relationships or sharing with others

Through KidSquad, teachers and parents have access to expert guidance and hands-on support. Whether in the classroom, at home or in everyday life, our specialists work alongside the adults in a child’s life to create consistent, supportive environments where children can succeed.

This additional layer of care and skill-building with a specialist not only helps the child receiving care, but ripples throughout the classroom, the family and the community.

If you think your child, student or early childhood education classroom would benefit from individualized emotional and behavioral support, contact us today to learn how KidSquad can help.

The services of KidSquad are provided at no charge to you through grants provided by the Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative, United Way of the Midlands, anonymous donors and through federal award G1601NECCDF of the Childcare and Development Block Grant of the US Department of Health and Human Services.
