Child Saving Institute Cancels Touch-A-Truck for Fall 2021

June 21, 2021

Child Saving Institute (CSI) is sad to announce the cancellation of Touch-A-Truck 2021. Due to the continued impact of COVID-19, we feel it is in the best interest of children and families to cancel this year’s event. At CSI, our main priority is the safety of kids. Since children are not currently able to be vaccinated, the difficult decision was made to once again cancel this event.

We sincerely thank our sponsors, volunteers and community for your continued support and love for this fun event. We look forward to seeing everyone at Touch-A-Truck 2022! More information and dates will be provided on the CSI website at childsaving.org in early 2022.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss alternative ways to support CSI, please contact Anna Dwyer, Events & Projects Coordinator at adwyer@childsaving.org or 402.504.3664.

About Touch-A-Truck:

Child Saving Institute’s (CSI) annual Touch-A-Truck event is one of Omaha’s most popular “friend-raisers”. This free event is fun for the entire family where children can see and climb on real life vehicles. Children can explore emergency and military vehicles, semi-trucks, bobcats, racecars and other commercial vehicles and talk to the people who operate them! Other activities at Touch-A-Truck include face painting, prizes, bounce houses, food and more. While Touch-A-Truck is cancelled in 2021, we hope to see everyone at Touch-A-Truck 2022!
