It’s a Wrap: During First Half of 2018, Friends Provide $380,915 to Help Kids!
Child Saving Institute (CSI) is grateful to its extraordinary friends who support the children and families the agency serves.
Since January, CSI has wrapped up three distinct fundraisers. In total, generous donors provided $380,915 to help Omaha area children and families find hope and healing!
Dough in the Toe, held in March and April and chaired by board member Melanie Hecker, raised a record-breaking $52,185. In May, the agency participated in OmahaGives!, a one-day fundraiser sponsored by the Omaha Community Foundation, and received $14,628 in donations. Only two weeks later, CSI held its largest fundraiser of the year — Cabaret, chaired by Emily and Tasso Sideris — raising $316,102 to help children and families.
More than two-thirds of CSI’s client families live under the federal poverty level. Without support from kind, empathetic people like you, they couldn’t receive the services they need. Thank you!
