Finding the perfect spot to place your precious little one is always a big decision. Child Saving Institute's Early Childhood Education program provides nurturing care in two state-of-the-art facilities that are safe, conducive to learning, and respectful of each child's individuality. Our child care sites—located at CSI at 4545 Dodge Street as well as at the Spellman Child Development Center, managed by Child Saving Institute, on the College of Saint Mary campus—offer a unique “neighborhood” philosophy for children ages six weeks to six years, providing your child with a sense of community and a place to belong.
More Than Just a Daycare
Child Saving Institute's Early Childhood Education curriculum implements the latest research on brain development and attachment. Children's brains are wired to learn through play and through exploring the world around them, and it is our job as educators to provide an optimal environment of individualized, responsive and stimulating experiences. So much more than a daycare, our child care program utilizes an evidence-based assessment to ensure academic and developmental growth, ensuring children who leave our program are ready for kindergarten.
Children's competence and confidence are achieved when the seeds of positive relationships are planted. Seamless learning opportunities for children begin with strong family-teacher partnerships that create a bridge between home and school. If all of us—parents and teachers—have meaningful relationships with the child and each other, it helps children develop healthy social-emotional well-being. We are committed to your child, and we are delighted to join you in giving your child a happy, healthy childhood.
