Child Saving Institute (CSI) recently awarded seven individuals with various awards for their dedicated commitment to CSI and aiding local families in need of additional support. CSI proudly honors these remarkable individuals whose unwavering dedication has significantly impacted the lives of children and families.

The Donna Tubach-Davis Award is being given to Kristin Saxena in recognition of her outstanding advocacy as a community member devoted to making a significant difference in the lives of children and adolescents. Her commitment to empowering youth has left a mark on the organization and community at large.

Debra S. Kaplan received the A.W. Clark Award. Named after CSI’s founder, this award is being given to Kaplan for demonstrating vision and continuing outstanding service to children, youth and families in the community. Her passion and tireless volunteer work have been instrumental in supporting CSI in fulfilling its mission.

The Sarah Clark Award is being given to Rich and Wendy Killingsworth, foster parents who have opened their home and heart to children in crisis in need of safety and quality parenting. They understand and support the goal to develop and maintain the bond of a healthy relationship with a child’s family, similar to CSI’s founder’s wife, Sarah, who welcomed children in need of food, clothing and a bed to sleep in their home.

The Helping Hand Award is being given to Ashley Dieckman, a CSI Guild member who has shown dedicated commitment to the development and fundraising goals of CSI.

In addition to community members being recognized, CSI also proudly presents two exceptional staff with the Guardian Angel Award.

The Direct Service Guardian Angel Award is being given to Briana Lozano, the Assistant Director of CSI’s Early Childhood Education Center. This award was created by the CSI Board of Directors to honor an exemplary staff member who has shown an outstanding and long-term commitment to CSI’s families.

The Support Staff Guardian Angel Award is being given to Terry Lilla, Accounting Manager at CSI. This award was created to recognize staff who provide backend support to ensure the agency’s operations continue operating smoothly for those it serves.

These individuals exemplify the spirit of generosity that lies at the heart of CSI’s purpose: Champion what’s best for each child and family. To learn more about the staff and history of CSI, click here.
