Laughing So Kids Know Love

Save the date for Cabaret 2023 scheduled to take place on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista Hotel & Conference Center. Cabaret has turned into a community favorite bringing together laughter and friends for a good cause. Join us for an evening of cocktails, dinner and entertainment featuring comedian Bret Ernst. 

All money raised will support Child Saving Institute and its life-changing services provided to more than 2,500 children and families each year.

Bret Ernst
Bret can currently be seen playing Louie LaRusso in the hit series Cobra Kai, and is regarded as one of the best stand-ups in the business by his peers.

He was recently listed as TOP 5 comedians working today by www.standupcomedyreview.com and “#16 of the 101 Funniest Comedians Working Today" by heckler.com and TBS.

He first gained national notoriety as one of the stars of the movie “Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show,” and his “Comedy Central Presents” was voted #5 on the networks “Stand-Up Showdown” the same year it aired.

The 25-year standup veteran dives into the trials and tribulations of marriage. Bret is relatable to his audiences and brings humor to everyday life events.

Julie Cornell is an award winning journalist with KETV Newswatch 7. 

Julie is a graduate of Marquette University School of Journalism in her hometown, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has worked at television stations in Wisconsin, Indiana and Florida.

During her 30 years at KETV, Julie has helped shine a light on issues that might go unnoticed. Her work over the years has focused on investigations, children’s issues, addiction, women’s issues and the environment.
