Give your child a summer packed with discovery, friendships and unforgettable fun. Our 11 week Summer Camp program is designed for big kids (ages 5-10), with convenient all day care that supports busy families.

Each week features a new theme with intentional outings, hands-on activities and special visitors who bring the experience to life.

Summer Camp is offered at both CSI childcare centers—the A.W. Clark Child Development Center located at 45th and Dodge and the Spellman Child Development Center located in Aksarben Village.

Camp Dates

Summer Camp will kick off on Tuesday, May 26th and conclude on Friday, August 7th. In total, Summer Camp is 11-weeks long, aligning with most school districts summer breaks.

Camp Hours

CSI’s Summer Camp provides extended all-day care, 6:30am-6pm, Monday through Friday.

We are thrilled to bring camp for school-aged children at both of child development centers:

A.W. Clark Child Development Center (located at 45th & Dodge)

Spellman Child Development Center (located in Aksarben Village)

Activities & Outings

Each week children will have a fun and educational theme—from Space Expedition to Little Gardeners; and Wildlife Wonders to Dino Discoverythe child-selected themes combine learning, exploration and creativity.

Aligning with the weekly themes are activities, off-site field trips and on-site special visitors!

Field Trips & Visitors

Weekly off-site field trips, age-approrirpaite will be provided. Whether walking or transported, your child will get to experience all the fun things Omaha has to offer including:

Meals

All meals and snacks will be provided daily from our on-site commercial kitchens. We are committed to providing homemade, well-balanced meals (breakfast, lunch and snack) that support your child’s growth and development.

On off-site fieldtrip days, your child will be provided a sack lunch from CSI.

Cost

All-inclusive pricing of $3,575 for the 11-week long Summer Camp. Your Summer tuition includes everything, no add-on fees:

Spellman Child Development Center

The Spellman Child Development Center, managed by Child Saving Institute, is a 10-classroom facility located on the College of Saint Mary in Aksarben.

Mickey Crampton

Site Director at Spellman Child Development Center

Mickey Crampton, Site Director at Spellman Child Development Center, has dedicated her career to fostering growth and learning among educators while making a positive impact on young students' lives. With over four years at Spellman and a wealth of experience in early childhood education, Mickey's expertise and passion for teaching make her an invaluable asset to the organization.

Arriving in Nebraska from California to pursue collegiate softball, Mickey discovered her love for working with children through nannying and eventually transitioned to childcare while completing her education. Her unique perspective and hands-on experience as a lead teacher, along with a bachelor's and master’s degree in human development, have paved the way for her success in various roles within the early childhood education field.

Mickey values humanity as the key to a thriving community at Spellman. By cultivating a safe and empathetic environment for students, families and staff, she ensures a nurturing space for all.

In her free time, Mickey cherishes moments with her family, engaging in outdoor activities such as swimming, going for walks, and camping. With her unwavering dedication to education and community well-being, Mickey Crampton's wealth of experience and passion for teaching make her an exceptional leader at Spellman Child Development Center.
