Child Saving Institute (CSI) is thrilled to announce the success of its annual fundraiser, Cabaret, held on Friday, April 14th at Embassy Suites in La Vista, NE. The event was attended by over 600 guests.

The theme of this year’s event was “Laughing So Kids Know Love,” and guests were treated to a night of hilarious comedy by comedian Bret Ernst. The event also featured a raffle and raise the paddle, which collectively helped CSI raise over $701,000 to support its mission. This marks the largest fundraiser in CSI’s 131-year history.

“We are incredibly grateful to our supporters who helped make this event a success,” said Jaymes Sime, CEO of CSI. “The funds raised will enable us to continue to provide critical programs and services to children and families in need.”

Nick and Gina Patrick, along with Nick and Michelle Strawhecker, served as event chairs and worked tirelessly to ensure the event’s success. CSI also extends its appreciation to Honorary Chairs Adam and Andrea Peterson, whose unwavering support helped make Cabaret 2023 possible. Additionally, CSI partnered with Diventures of Omaha as this year’s inaugural Presenting Sponsor.

“We are thrilled with the success of Cabaret 2023 and the overwhelming support of our community,” said Nick Patrick, event chair. “It is an honor to be part of an organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in our community.”

CSI was founded in 1892 and has been serving the Omaha community for over 131 years. The success of Cabaret is a testament to the dedication and hard work of everyone involved in making it happen.

“We are proud to have raised a record-breaking amount and to have celebrated a night of laughter and love,” said Gina Patrick, event chair. “The funds raised will help ensure that CSI can continue to provide essential services to children and families in our community.”
